Although LV Journalism doesn't need a whole lot of explanation, there's a back story to how I arrived at the name. I first started a blog in college and called it "Thoughts of a Cornhusker." Thinking about the name and how I had the blog set up, it's a little cringe-y. It served it's purpose well by giving me a place to start. I wrote quite a bit on that, until I didn't anymore. I gave it a make over and a new name a few years ago. I was trying to be extra creative and called it "The Elusive Editor." I didn't have a good reason for the name other than I liked the alliteration and needed something to go with editor.

I figured if I wanted people to take me seriously as a writer, I need a place to display my work. I've always loved my middle name - Vee - and I just don't get to use it nearly as often as I would like. That lead me to use it on here. If you haven't taken a cruise around the site yet, this is my CTA that you should. It took a lot of time to get everything uploaded and looking just right, so I implore you take a quick look around if you're curious about some of the things I've dabbled in the last few years.
